Exploring the often overlooked, but groundbreaking, works of the Persian poet, mathematician and astronomer Omar Khayyam. Filmed in Iran, USA and UK.

Tamasha 27’ for BBC Persian (BBC) - ongoing - Editor (offline)
Tamasha is a fortnightly arts show for BBC Persian structured along the same lines as the UK's 'Culture Show'. The programme showcases a variety of subjects, some linked to Iran & Afghanistan. Films / Multicam / Studio interviews.

Iran & Britain 59’ for BBC4, BBC Persian, BBC Arabic (Takeaway Media) - Editor (offline)
Examining the historical basis for the strained relationship between Iran and Britain. Archive of an old, and much loved, Iranian TV show was used to tie the narrative together. A different version was made for each channel and their audiences.

Yajna 52’ (Independent) - Editor (offline)
A 52 minute doc on the presenter's journey to a Karma Yoga centre in India using humour and personal experience to tell the story. I cut a narrative from over 120 hours of footage to produce this one off programme aimed at festivals.

Backstage Bedlam 50’ for Scuzz TV (Chart Show Channels Ltd.) - Editor (offline)
A one off behind the scenes programme on the Download music festival for music TV channel Scuzz. A fast paced cut to hold the viewer’s attention on a music channel and to mirror the content.

B4 27’ for Channel 4 (Chart Show Channels Ltd.) - Editor (online/offline)
A long running daily music video show. I was on a rota of staff editing this formatted programme to Channel 4 delivery specifications and to a tight daily deadline.

Fighting for Afghanistan 59’ for BBC Persian (Clan Productions) - Editor (online)
Grade, online and subtitles for this doc examining the invasions of Afghanistan in the last 30 years.

Breakout 54’ for ITV1 (RAW TV) - Editor (assembly)
Sync assembly editing on Media Composer for this docudrama series.

Extraordinary Bodies
48’ for Discovery US (Renegade Pictures) - Editor (assembly)
Two weeks sync assembly editing with the director on this 48 minute factual programme for Discovery US. Examining various paths to obesity and what this means for currently healthy individuals.

Hairspray: The School Musical for Sky One (Mentorn Media) - Media Manager
On location working with 3 crews shooting XDCAM EX to SXS cards. My role was to log, backup and transcode this footage for direct import into AVID plus write up and pass on this workflow to other crews.
