Tamasha 27’ for BBC Persian TV (BBC) - Editor (offline)
An ongoing monthly arts programme (since January 2009) for BBC Persian TV. The show is comprised of packages and studio links covering a variety of subjects and styles, from reportage to ob-doc, all with an arts and Iranian/Afghan focus.
Iran & Britain 59’ for BBC4 (Clan Productions) - Editor (offline)
A substantial recut and restructure of the documentary I cut last year for BBC Persian TV, this time for BBC4 and an English
audience.
‘It’s Britain to Blame!’ 52’ for BBC Persian TV (Takeaway Media) - Editor (offline)
A 52 minute documentary for the launch of the new BBC Persian TV service, examining the historical basis for the strained
relationship between Britain and Iran. The doc was in Farsi, which I don’t speak, so this added a complication to
proceedings, however we did have a fluent (and patient) producer.
Extraordinary Bodies 48’ for Discovery US (Renegade Pictures) - Assistant Editor
Working on one programme in this series as an assistant editor, all ingest had been completed so I was assembly editing
with the director prior to a full editor coming in to complete the rough and fine cuts.
Yajna Independent documentary - Editor (offline)
A 52 minute doc on the presenter's journey to a Karma Yoga centre in India using humour and personal experience to tell
the story. I cut a narrative from over 120 hours of footage to produce this one off programme aimed at festivals.
Hairspray: The School Musical for Sky One (Mentorn Media) - Media Manager
On location working with 3 crews shooting XDCAM EX to SXS cards. My role was to log, backup and transcode this footage
for direct import into AVID plus write up and pass on this workflow to other crews.
Backstage Bedlam 50’ for Scuzz TV (Chart Show Channels Ltd.) - Editor (online/offline)
A one off 50 minute behind the scenes programme on the Download music festival for music TV channel Scuzz.
I'm a keen photographer in my spare time - this page gives some examples of what I've done.
